Re: Vitalise | Priorities

We have so many things fighting for our attention each day.

With responsibilities at home,

commitments to church,

projects for school,

plans with our friends (etc.)

our days can be filled with activities even before the day starts.

It can be very easy to allow our priorities to become misplaced.

We need to see what Scripture says about priorities, and have a Godly perspective on how to use our time.

*WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT THE PRIORITIES WE SHOULD HAVE?*

1. Mark 12:28-30 – Love God with our whole being.

2. Matt. 6:19-21 – Lay up your treasures in heaven, not on earth.

3. Luke 12:29-31 – Seek God’s kingdom, He will handle the rest.

*WHAT ARE THE WAYS WE CAN KEEP OUR PRIORITIES IN ORDER?*

1. Psalm 5:3 – Daily spend time with God in prayer.

2. Joshua 1:8 – Daily read and meditate on Scripture.

3. Heb. 10:25 – Meet with other believers (church attendance).

4. Phil. 3:13-14 – Live to fulfill God’s call/will for your life.

5. 1Cor. 10:31 – In every endeavor, do all to the glory of God.

*WHAT SHOULD I DO?*

Our highest priority is to honour and please God with our lives. When we are determined and focused on living for God, our priorities will fall correctly into place. That is the key to fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives without getting side-tracked by other selfish pursuits. Does your schedule show that you take personal time with God seriously?

Do the other responsibilities and tasks you take line up with what God asks of you? In what ways can you better prioritise things in your life? Now, take your time and prioritise the right in your life.

Would like to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour?

Would you like to become a Christian?

Read this prayer along with me:

This is your YES "Lord Jesus, thank You for giving Your life for me and forgiving me of my sins so I can have a personal relationship with You. I am sincerely sorry for the mistakes I've made, and I know I need You to help me live right. Your Word says in Romans 10:9, "If you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His Power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." I believe You are the Son of God, and I confess You as my Saviour and Lord. Take me just as I am, and work in my heart, making me the person You want me to be. I want to live for You, Jesus, and I am so grateful to You for giving me a fresh start in my new life with You today. I love you, Jesus!"**
