Re: Vitalise | How God restored the Lost Righteousness of Man
Jesus answered to God for your sin (2 Cor 5:21). As a substitute, not only did Jesus take upon Him the sins of the world, He also had to suffer the penalty for carrying this burden which in turn was death. (Isaiah 53:6-9). He became what we were, that we might become what He was... a son (Gal 4:4-7).
What was Jesus facing in the garden that made Him cry unto the heavens, if it is possible, let this cup pass? (Matt 26:39)
It wasn't a physical death that He was afraid of because once He died it would be all over.
He knew where He was going and knew what was coming, he knew he will be separated.
From all eternity the Son has never known separation from the Father. (Gen 1:1, Jn 17:5)
There was never a force which could bring a separation between Father and the Son except for the time in eternity when the Father demonstrated His love for you. (Romans 5: 8 ; Jn 3:16)
For three days, which seemed like an eternity, Jesus underwent separation from His Father - He died spiritually, (Matt 12:40 ; 27:46 ; Psa 88:14). He was actually passing from light into darkness ( 1 Jn 1:5 ; Psa 88:6)
It was God suffering for humanity and being God, He could pay the penalty, you weren't qualified too, if we Had died a sinner we would have been made to pay the same punishment that Jesus bore. (Psa 88: 1-14)
He was laid in the lowest pit (Mk 9:43-46 ; Isa 14: 9-11), He was in total darkness for 3 days
and was made an nomination (Isa 52:14 ; Psa 22: 6-8)
He was separated from His Father ( Matt 27:46), Jesus stayed in hell and underwent judgement for our sins until every claim against us was paid in full - He had met every demand of justice.
At this point, the Bible shows Jesus was justified, what he bore, we do not need to bare (Rom 6:6) and the law has done its work in the crucifixion and death of Jesus who was the believers substitute (Gal 2:19)
When Jesus sat down, His work was complete and the new creation had now become a reality (Heb 1:3), we could now pass from death to life and now we understand.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 NKJV
How can we obtain or partake of this righteousness that will give us perfect fellowship with God?
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Romans 10:9-10 NKJV
“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.”
I Peter 2:24 NKJV
In order for us to understand the great exchange that took place on our behalf, we must have an understanding of Substitution and Identification.
Substitution defined means to act or be used in a place of another (Webster's Dictionary)
Identification to consider and treat as the same; having a strong tie that makes you think, feel or act like the one identified with.
It makes union with Him complete through His substitutionary sacrifice, this is the legal side of our redemption and it unveils to us what God did in Christ for us from the time He went to the cross, until He sat down at the right hand of God.
The entire plan of redemption planned by God was a substitutionary act of grace where His love was demonstrated in full.
In order, to find out who you are in Christ. you must first find out what Jesus did for you, put yourself in His place and identify yourself in His place.
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, I according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,” Ephesians 2:1-14 NKJV
THE POWER OF THE LORD
Your worthiness is in the blood of Jesus (Rom 5:9), under the old covenant, sin was not put away; it was cleansed, it was only covered by the blood of bulls and goats. Under the new covenant, our sins were not covered but completely eradicated ( Heb 10:5 -18).
Our sin-consciousness is cleansed and he has obtained an eternal redemption (Heb 9:12)
God ha reconciled the world to Himself through his Son and the greatest love story was ever known was portrayed by the Father and Son in the great lengths they both went to, to demonstrate their love for you and always the blood of Jesus speaks ' you're forgiven' (Heb 12:24).

What do you believe?
#Christianity is the life of #God (the Creator) in human beings (that's us). What this means, practically, is that each day, you take steps to get to know this God, through His Word, the Bible (https://classic.biblegateway.com) ,by building a relationship with Him, through faith in Jesus Christ.
In the same way, as soon as your baby is born, in fact from the moment you "know" that you are pregnant, you spend time getting to know the baby, letting them know that each day
I ask you, then, would you like to be in a relationship with #God, the God of the Bible, the God that made this beautiful earth, through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?
The God that gave Jesus Christ to us:
This the WHAT
John 3:16-18 The Message (MSG)
“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him."**
And we (using #faith, a bit like #electricity, we know it's there because the lights come on) accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and get to know Him each day, as we would our own dear friends, loved ones, a spouse.
This is the WHY
"It’s crucial that we keep a firm grip on what we’ve heard so that we don’t drift off. If the old message delivered by the angels was valid and nobody got away with anything, do you think we can risk neglecting this latest message, this magnificent salvation? First of all, it was delivered in person by the Master, then accurately passed on to us by those who heard it from him. All the while God was validating it with gifts through the Holy Spirit, all sorts of signs and miracles, as he saw fit."**
In exchange for following Jesus you will receive peace, freedom, joy (that's laughter whilst your awake, peace whilst you sleep), it will be hard, your friends may disown you because you've become "one of us" but guess what even if you have a tough day, you will never be alone again.
Read this prayer along with me:
This is your YES
"Lord Jesus, thank You for giving Your life for me and forgiving me of my sins so I can have a personal relationship with You. I am sincerely sorry for the mistakes I've made, and I know I need You to help me live right.
Your Word says in Romans 10:9, "If you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His Power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
I believe You are the Son of God, and I confess You as my Saviour and Lord. Take me just as I am, and work in my heart, making me the person You want me to be. I want to live for You, Jesus, and I am so grateful to You for giving me a fresh start in my new life with You today. I love you, Jesus!"**
